Aruna Jayanthi’s journey to leadership began with a solid educational foundation. In 1984, she earned a Master’s degree in Management Studies with a specialisation in Finance from SVKM’s NMIMS. Joining Capgemini in 2000 marked the beginning of a transformative phase in the company’s history, with Aruna playing a vital role. Serving as the CEO of Business Services and later as the CEO of Capgemini India, she played a central role in propelling the company’s growth and diversifying its service offerings. Currently, she holds the position of Managing Director for Capgemini’s business in Canada and Latin America.

In her current role at the helm of Capgemini’s Asia Pacific and Latin America business unit, Aruna has been instrumental in steering the company’s global expansion initiatives. Business Today’s ‘Most Powerful Women in Business’ featured her for multiple years, spanning from 2011 to 2015 and 2017 to 2018.
