Starting in investment banking in 1986, her journey led her to Oracle, where she joined as a senior vice president in 1999.

Playing a crucial role, Catz facilitated Oracle’s 2005 acquisition of software rival PeopleSoft in a $10.3 billion takeover. Beyond her Oracle tenure, she contributed as a non-executive director of Oracle subsidiary Hyperion Solutions and as a director of PeopleSoft Inc. and Stellent Inc.
