First time in the internet world Google took initiative to get 50 Million women online by this Year
Google welcoming women to get online. This is the first time in the internet world wherein any internet company took initiative to get more women online.
Out of 200 million internet only 30 percent are women in India. Now google pushing Help Women Go Online project to get 50 Million women online in next 12 months.
This project is already tested by Google in Bhilwara district of Rajasthan, wherein more than one lakh women exposed to internet first time.
Google has already setup a website www.hwgo.com to help the basics for the first time internet users.
