Central to the campaign is the poignant “Amrit Kalash Yatra,” symbolising unity and respect for the nation’s heroes. Soil collected from every corner of India, stored in 7500 urns, will converge in the capital city of Delhi. This symbolic journey will be accompanied by saplings representing diverse regions of the country. The merging of soil and saplings from these urns will give birth to the “Amrit Vatika,” a significant monument near the National War Memorial, embodying the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.’

Events and Activities Unveiled

The campaign serves as a tribute to both the land of India and its brave inhabitants, fostering interactions and mutual understanding among people hailing from diverse states and Union Territories. The campaign encompasses a series of key events and activities:

Active Participation and Meaningful Conclusion

In summary, the “Meri Maati Mera Desh” campaign brings forth an innovative approach to commemorate the 77th anniversary of India’s independence.
